In 2013, the following are some of the changes which will occur as a part of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA): 1) Flexible Spending Accounts are capped at a contribution of $2,500. 2) The Medicare withholding tax for those making $200,000 single, or $250,000 family, will increase from 1.45% to 2.35%. 3) The employer must report the aggregate cost of employer sponsored health care on their employees' W2, if the employer has issued more than 250 W2's.
